Mini bowls are one of the most versatile dishes. Great for single servings of things like fruit and cottage cheese, dipping bowls, or ring dishes by the sink, they're beautiful as well as useful. Free hand painted by the artisans of Tunisia, each one expresses the creativity Tunisian ceramicists are known for.
The Tunisian artisan studio Dishes & Deco was founded in 2009. This studio grew out of a love of Mediterranean dishes and the desire to bring them to European and American markets. The result is a variety of colorful mandala-like patterns and bold stripes. Inside the 8,000 square foot studio, over a dozen artisans hand paint each line, dot and stroke of glaze onto the white clay dishes.
