Dino lives in the outskirts of Maputo, Mozambique. He learned how to carve cashew wood from his elderly neighbors at the age of 13. His car and motorcycle carvings helped bring money into the household to support his family. As he became more skilled as an artisan, he began carving human figures, such as this unique nativity set.
