In the village of Pisac, high in the Peruvian Andes, artisans paint unique designs onto jewelry. It starts with homemade paint brushes made from tiny little cat hairs. Whether the painting is an animal or a flower, the detail work is intricate and takes hours to complete every piece. These little masterpieces are then passed along to the wire workers, who enhance each and every piece with beadwork using Czech glass and fire polished beads.
